SUMMARY:Mountain Playhouse Matinee
DESCRIPTION:The Mountain Playhouse present “Come From Away\,” a Broadway musical about 7\,000 stranded passengers and the small\ntown\, Gander\, Newfoundland\, that welcomed them as all planes were grounded on 9/11. It tells how the people in this this\nsmall town rallied together to make all the passengers feel welcome and even form some lifelong friendships. It is based on a\nremarkable true story of a harrowing time in our history.\nThe playhouse is still under renovations so this production will be at the Somerset High School Auditorium\, 645 S. Columbia\nAve.\, Somerset\, PA. Tickets are $25 per person for the 2:00 matinee.\nWe would drive out route 30 to get to the High School for the play and we will stop for an early dinner on the way home at the\nCoal Miner’s Restaurant around 4:30.
