SUMMARY:CCWP October Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The October membership meeting will be held on Monday\, October 9th\, at Papa Rocks in Monroeville. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm and dinner will be the same buffet deal that we had there in the spring. The cost will be $15/person and will include pizza\, grilled chicken salad\, beverage\, tax and tip. The buffet should be ready around 6:15. Hope you can attend and can come early and have something to eat and spend some time catching up with friends and fellow members. \nIn order to ensure that they have adequate staff\, Papa Rocks has asked us to provide an estimate of how many people will attend a week in advance. Therefore\, we need you to let Allen Young know by Sunday\, October 1st\, if you plan to attend. SUMMARY:Trip to Scot C's Classic Building
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 14th\, Deb and Phil Cassel are planning a trip to Scott C’s Classic Building\, 712 E. Crawford Ave.\, Con- nelsville\, PA 15425. They are planning on arriving there around 9:00 am\, and once they see who is interested in joining them will pick a time and place to meet to leave from. Deb mentioned this at the September meeting but there didn’t seem to be much interest\, but they are hoping to get some members who have decided to join them. They will not be at the October meet- ing\, so if you are interested in the trip\, please let Deb know directly (contact info below). \nShe also plans on stopping at the Laurel Mall Flea Market and then going on to Laurel Caverns. The cost is $17 for adults and $15 for seniors. If at least 15 people go there will be a $2 discount per person. You will need to bring the correct cash to pay for your ticket that day because payment has to be for the entire group. You should also bring a picnic lunch and plan to eat at their pavilion. After lunch there is a stop at Christian Klay winery. If weather permits you will finish with a drive through Ohiopyle for our annual leafpeeper. \n\n\n\n\nDeb Cassel cassel79@yahoo.com 412-932-7326
