SUMMARY:July Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The July Membership Meeting will be another outdoor pizza meeting. It is scheduled for Monday\, July 8th\, and will be held at Oak Hollow Park\, Pine Pavilion. The park is in North Huntingdon and the address is 2130 Timothy Dr. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm but you can come early and join your fellow members for pizza that will be provided by the Club\, and that should arrive around 6:30. Please bring your own drinks.

SUMMARY:Cousin Tail of the Dragon Trip
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, July 17th\, we will be going for a scenic ride to Ohio to drive the 12 mile dragon trail. Please make sure you bring your ez pass and walkie talkies.\nWe will meet at the Piper Bay Café parking lot\, 200 Sheffield Dr.\, Delmont. PA 15626 at 7:15 am. We will drive to Hannibal\, OH to have a picnic lunch which you will need to pack and bring with you and eat there. \nAfter that we will drive the dragon tail and then go to the Greene County Historical Society and Museum in Waynesburg. The cost for the Museum is $5.00 for seniors and $10.00 for adults. Please bring cash so you can pay \nfor you tickets there. Afterwards we will drive to a restaurant for an early dinner that each person will pay for them- selves. SUMMARY:Coolspring Power Museum History Day
DESCRIPTION:History Day \n\nJuly 20\, 2024 \n\nAt Coolspring Power Museum \n\n\nCoolspring Power Museum is hosting “History Day” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be volunteers throughout the museum buildings and grounds to give presentations on the history of many engines in the museum along with the history of the museum itself. They will explain when and where the engines were built and what they were used for. A brief description will be given on how the engines operate and why each manufacturer made his a little different than others. Many engines will be running throughout the day\, with a scheduled start-up for the larger engines. Engineers will explain how they start an engine and answer any questions you might have. History Day will give you the opportunity to have a personal tour of the museum and the freedom to do so at your own pace. Volunteers will be on hand to show you why the Coolspring Power Museum has the finest antique engine collection in the world. \nThe gift shop will be open all day for any souvenirs or apparel you might be interested in. Restroom facilities that are wheelchair accessible are available and there are plenty of benches throughout the grounds for taking a break. A food vendor will be on-site if you wish to purchase lunch or refreshments.  All parking is free. \nAdmission for the event is $12.  Information regarding the event is available by calling the museum at 814-849-6883 or by calling Stewart McKinley at 814-316-1794 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern Time.  Your admission includes presentations and tours. \n History Day events are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
