Mountain Playhouse Matinee

The Mountain Playhouse present “Come From Away,” a Broadway musical about 7,000 stranded passengers and the small
town, Gander, Newfoundland, that welcomed them as all planes were grounded on 9/11. It tells how the people in this this
small town rallied together to make all the passengers feel welcome and even form some lifelong friendships. It is based on a
remarkable true story of a harrowing time in our history.
The playhouse is still under renovations so this production will be at the Somerset High School Auditorium, 645 S. Columbia
Ave., Somerset, PA. Tickets are $25 per person for the 2:00 matinee.
We would drive out route 30 to get to the High School for the play and we will stop for an early dinner on the way home at the
Coal Miner’s Restaurant around 4:30. The plan is to leave from Sheetz in Blairsville at 12:30. If interested text or call Deb Cas
